Kristin Wagner, Psy.D.
Kristin AJ Wagner, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina in 2012. She earned a Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology and a Doctor of Psychology at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2019. Her training and experience has been highly varied, including training and experience in assessment and treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, chronic pain and other health conditions, and neurodevelopmental and neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Wagner offers individual therapy for children (age 6+) and adults for the following concerns:

Dr. Wagner also offers psychological evaluations for neurodevelopmental disorders (including ADHD, autism, and communication problems) for children ages 3+, adolescents, and adults; gender affirming treatment for adolescents ages 13+ and adults; and pre-surgical clearance for bariatric procedures, plastic surgery, and chronic pain treatment.
Dr. Wagner works from an integrative perspective, incorporating Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Narrative, Interpersonal, and Humanistic perspectives, depending on the needs of the client. She also provides Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills training for adolescents and adults; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for adults 18+; and Hypnotherapy for adults 18+.
When not in the office, Dr. Wagner enjoys spending time with her husband and son, quilting, writing, reading, watching movies, and attending Bible study. Her favorite books are the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, and she is a Marvel fan (sorry DC fans!).
