James R. Franz, Psy.D.
Dr. Jim Franz earned his doctoral degree in psychology from Wright State University in 2000. He served in the Air Force as a psychologist and originally came to Middle Georgia when he was transferred to Robins Air Force Base.
Dr. Franz has been in private practice since leaving the military. He provides individual therapy to clients who are above the age of 13, and he also offers couples counseling and marital therapy. He specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and also uses strategic solution-focused therapy. He commonly helps individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, or dealing with a history of trauma or abuse, as well as difficulty adjusting to problems in their daily lives.
