Wayne Hamilton, MS

Wayne Hamilton received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Georgia College in 1983. He was awarded a Master of Science in Psychology degree from Georgia College in 1987. He was licensed by the state of Georgia, as a Licensed Professional Counselor, in 1991. He also became a National Certified Counselor in 1993 with a specialty certification as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

 Mr. Hamilton Worked in a multidisciplinary chronic pain center in Macon for 13 years. He worked in a group practice with psychiatrists and therapists in Warner Robins for 14 years. He has been at his current location for the last 5 years.

Mr. Hamilton offers individual therapy for children ages 10+, as well as teenagers and adults. He works from a cognitive-behavioral perspective. Treatment areas include depression, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, grief, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder (Asperger’s) and anger management.

Mr. Hamilton was raised in a small community west of Savannah, Georgia. He has been in Warner Robins for over 33 years. He enjoys spending time with his family, listening to 70’s music (especially the Eagles) and spoiling his grand-kids and his dog.
